life is fricken H A R D .⁣ ⁣ have you ever looked at your life and said to yourself (+ maybe to God), 😩😠“it’s not supposed to be this way?”⁣ ⁣ i’ve always considered myself to be a very 👍🏽positive, 😆joyous, ☀️optimistic person...but within the last year i have experienced a darkness i never knew existed.⁣ ⁣ depression was never a 👿monster i thought I’d have to fight until i found myself face to face with it. uncomfortable + dark, it was there whispering lies and creating narratives that were wrecking every ounce of hope i had left inside of me. + there was 😈shame, depressions bff, always there to keep me isolated and silent.⁣ ⁣ friend, life is hard! 🌥it gets dark sometimes + honestly sometimes it’s way easier to stay in the dark than to adjust to the light. ⁣ ⁣ but THIS IS FOR WHOEVER NEEDS A ✨✨GLIMMER OF LIGHT RIGHT NOW: please know that the dark DOESN’T last forever.✨✨ there IS hope, joy, reconciliation, restoration + healing waiting for YOU. ⁣ ⁣ you’re not alone, it’s ok to not be ok. your joy will be RESTORED. 💛 xo, mel
